11:30 Friday night
No kidding! I can’t believe that I am doing this. I have dedicated my life to doing as little as possible (you could conceivably stop there) on the work front when I am at home but here I sit. My brain being sucked to the size of raisin by this machine! And I can’t stop! There is so much to see, read, do, learn…out there. My only goal was to finish up #6 and then I was to go read. Now, my husband is asleep on the sofa and I’m…Blogging? How fascinating!! Don’t even get me started on the stretch task – I’m all a quiver with learning something else. You can start singing – ding, dong the witch is dead- the more you learn, the more you know and so on. I’ve come around to a plugged in life (damn, I’m easy!)
Seriously, as I was searching and playing with the various search engines and RSS links, I found one about Moodle from The MoodleMan, which a few of us are looking at using next year. It was pretty cool and seemed to have some good gouge (sorry, Navy Brat term!) um, some useful information. It may be over my head at this point but I’ll keep checking back and reading articles until I understand what he is talking about.
Enough of this – on to Custom News Feeds which is apparently one of the most powerful features of Google News and will allow me to create a custom feed that checks 4,500 news sources for whatever keyword(s) I choose. YES!! I think I’ve waited my entire adult life for this. Ok, maybe a tad bit over dramatized. It is late; I am feeling rather punchy and should probably find my way to sleep.
Goodnight, Moon!

Margee,
Welcome to the Brave New World! I’m chuckling. Why? Reading your writing is just so darn refreshing. I know you in real life, and I love seeing your real self pour into these posts. And, I especially love to see you find something that is really engaging you.
We’re going to have some fun this year…
Meanwhile, as I said in my email, please don’t stop blogging when 23 Things is over. You’ve got a unique voice, and I want to hear it.
Laura
